this was the best weekend ever. really. it was around 70 degrees everyday, sunny but some clouds, and just an ever so slight breeze. watched some movies. went for a walk or two. played music. drank wine (among all sorts of other beverages, but wine sounds classy). plus i spent it all with my favorite person in the world.
anyone watch the Raveonettes on Letterman last night? they make the sexiest music ever. though it doesn't have anyhting to do with how hot Sharin Foo is. i'm sure. right?
i let Dawn braid my hair last night. she really enjoyed it. on fact she laughed so hard i thought she was going to die. it was pretty funny. then she put my hair in pigtails, which she thought was even funnier. i on the other hand wasn't so amused. i've got pictures somewhere.
i'm slowly building back my pedal collection. ad i gotta say....it's gonna be so damn cool. i just bought a 70's Roland Space Echo. I should get it next week. And i got the coolest overdrive pedal i've ever heard. Toadworks "Death Rattle". God it is fucking unreal! It's pretty much four overdrives in one too. In a really cool way too, not in a stupid Line-6 sort of way. If you're a guitar player, you should check it out for sure.
And I should get my new Telecaster soon. I got insurance money from the place it got stolen from. So i ordered a new one in the color i wanted. heelllll yeeeeaaaaah!!!!

oh and i hate Vampire Weekend. I'm sorry to everyone that loves them (which is pretty much everyone). but man they are lame. I can see the appeal, but i don't get it. yes they are witty. yes they are clever. yes they are very well read and smart with their lyrics. but if your so damn smart......THEN WRITE A FUCKING BOOK!
